Pushups

I knocked out 100 with 5X20 tonight. Total of 215 this week.

So easy to do 100 a day. When you are watching your favorite tv show and a lousy commercial comes on jump off the couch or out of bed and drop then do a reasonable set like 10 or 20. The more sets you do the harder they get per day, but I guarantee you that if you do 6 sets of 10 pushups 3-4 days this week then next week you will be able to do 6 sets of 15, the strength goes up quick.

Pushups are a great core workout. Keep in mind most of triathlon training (Bike/Run) your upper body tends to diminish by the natural order of things. Pushups will give your shoulders/lats and chest great strength.

Pushups, situps, dips, and pullups are all you really need for core and upper body strength no need for expensive weights. A pullup bar and a dip stand you are set. Not my ideas ask Herschel Walker pushups, he never lifted weights google it.

My challenge to any of you out there is to do 30 pushups during one hour of your sitcom time tonight. Give it a shot for a week you WILL get stronger and they will Get easier.
