Deer Park Ride

Well today's ride was quite humbling. I hung in there for as long as I could, but I have a lot of work to do, but I learn more and get better every day I train. Thanks to some new people I rode with today I realized what is possible when effort is applied Anyone can get out there and do it, you just have to want it. We rode 52mi in 2:44:07. It is about 25.2 out and back and we did 2 laps of it. The road is very clean and smooth with little traffic if anyone is in the Melbourne area and wants a quiet safe place to ride I suggest heading out to Deer Park rd.

My body held up pretty well, but I felt some discomfort in my left hip towards the very end of the ride. Other than that, I feel pretty good, and I am confident with some extra time put in I will get better. As a whole it was a great day, but lots of work to do. I like it. Adios to all and Have a good night.

P.S. I am not sure how the legs will hold up tomorrow during the 10K, but I will finish it out, and report back tomorow.
