In Preparation fo rhte 15K in 3 weeks from today I ran a 7mile run. Well it was 7.07mi in 1:14:20 not a blistering pace, but I was very comfortable the whole run, which is good This is probably one of the longest runs I have ever completed. with 10:31 splits. I am not too unhappy with this, the goal is 10:00 splits fro this length, but I got off to a slow start the first 2 miles were well over 11 minute miles, but I picked it up at the end to finish strong. Next Sunday will be the 8 mile run and I should be just about ready for it. I am pretty amped about this 15K run it is my first step to endurance running sortof. I am aiming for a half marathon in january nexct year, probably the Disney Half.
Today is Monday and i am feeling like the allergies are kicked up due to the warmer weather, but I will soon be over that hopefully. I hope everyone had a great weekend, and Has a great week.
